Pada kesempatan kali ini kami akan membahas mengenai salah satu tenses yaitu Present Perfect Tense, Jika merujuk pada kata 'Present' berarti sekarang dan 'Perfect' yang berarti sempurna. Maka kita bisa menarik kesimpulan bahwa Present Perfect Tense adalah suatu tense yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan suatu aktivitas yang telah dilakukan pada saat ini. Disebut Perfect karena aktivitas itu telah terjadi atau sudah diselesaikan secara sempurna pada saat ini present. Maka Present Perfect Tense memakai have/has yang artinya 'sudah'. Hati-hati, disini arti dari have/has adalah 'sudah' bukan 'memiliki', karena have yang artinya memiliki akan diikuti oleh noun/kata benda bukan verb/kata kerja. Fungsi Present Perfect Tense Present perfect tense berfungsi untuk menunjukkan suatu aktifitas yang baru saja selesai, maka efek dari pekerjaan tersebut masih dapat kita rasakan sampai saat ini.
